Ruth M Culbertson, age 89, of Lemont, Illinois passed away on Sunday, August 21, 2022. Ruth was born October 22, 1932.

A visitation for Ruth will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Mount Auburn Funeral Home, 4101 South Oak Park Ave, Stickney, IL 60402.

While we were never lucky enough to meet Ruth, her daughter-in-law recognized her love for animals. Ruth truly loved all the animals. The family has been kind enough to have named Ruby Whiskers Animal Rescue as her charity in lieu of flowers. We are humbled and honored by Ruth and her family. We send our deepest condolences and many many hugs to the friends and family members of Ruth.

Ruth, you are one of us. We need not meet you to know you. You share a passion and a love that only some of us will ever know or feel. Being an animal lover is a special gift and a bond that will never be broken. You understand the need to help those who cannot help themselves. You are a special human being and we will honor your life by helping as many homeless animals as we can. Thank you for your huge heart and caring. The world could use a lot more people like you.
