Found a feral or stray cat?

A community/feral cat is a cat who has either never had any contact with humans or their contact with humans has diminished over time. They are fearful of people and survive on their own outdoors. A feral cat is not likely to ever become a lap cat or enjoy living indoors.

BUT THEY STILL NEED CARE!

TNR: Trap/Neuter/Release
Trap-Neuter-Release is successfully practiced in hundreds of communities and in every landscape and setting. It is exactly what it sounds like: Cats are humanely trapped and taken to a veterinarian to be neutered and vaccinated. After recovery, the cats are returned to their home—their colony—outdoors.

This is the best possible outcome for outdoor cats. No more repopulation and they receive lifesaving care in the process.

TNR fee per cat: $50

Stray cats are either friendly (will allow to be pet and/or held), shy, skittish, or scared.
